I posted some pictures from April 24th 1993 at Killington. They sure had alot of snow that year, and it was a very cold spring.

The picture with my thumb in the way, was taken from the Skye Lark trail looking down torward the Superstar HSQ and the Killington base lodge. The canvas hut structure before the lodge was a theatre where they used to hold summer concerts and events.

Before ASC bought out SKI corp, the company that owned Killington, they frequently went into May with lots of snow. When I skied the May 1st slalom in 1994, they had 63 trails open, and the slalom was held on Upper Bunny Buster.

I added a picture of Outer Limits. And a picture of Needles Eye with the double chair that was the original Killington Peak double chair until 1976, when it was moved to Needles Eye.

Nice Pics, Loafer.

I remember skiing Killington in '93 and well before. Back in that era, they used to keep as much of the mountain open as they could, conditions permitting. They would make snow on some of the flatter connecting trails at night to keep the interconnects going.
