Ginn is doing it already at Burke. Though technically they are out of Celebration instead of Orlando, but same difference. My only puzzlement is why the previous owners invested so much money prior to the sale. It was either time to cash out or became too much of an effort. Regardless, I doubt the sale will mean much to most people. Bretton Woods could expand more I guess with condos and base village and all that crap, but no one that likely skis at Bretton Woods regularly would see those additions as a bad thing.

For those who don't know, Celebration is a town that was created and designed by Disney. Disney does not own the town anymore, but to my knowledge it is still technically on Disney property. You can get to Celebration by taking World Drive, directly from Disney world. I've been there a couple of times and it's real creepy. Almost like "The Stepford Wives." Just thought I'd share this riveting information with everyone....sorry for the hijack.

Was "Celebration" supposed to be that town that was ran without police or anything. A no crime town? But it ended up not working out?

Ok, I just checked out CNL's property holdings Here. It looks like they've committed to purchase Cypress up in BC. They also are the majority holders on Intrawest's villages. Interesting.

Well, it appears that the Cog will no longer be affiliated with Bretton Woods Ski Area. Wonder if they are still going to do the skiing off the Cog? Probably not...maybe they will lease the Cog in the winter to the Bretton Woods crew.

I just hope that the new owners keep the sane style of early open late close. The employees should stay as well. Very nice friendly and happy people.

Kind of interesting they are staying open for skiing when the current owners have very little to gain IMO. I'm impressed.
