Yup - even when it's not Red Sox season, it's still all about us New England sports fans.

So who's gonna win the Football Aramageddon in Foxboro on Sunday night? I think Belichick somehow has the magic formula against Dungy, Peyton and the Colts. And - the Colts' rushing defense is SO bad, the Pats could run all night, keep the Colts offense on the sidelines, eat up the clock and win by a bunch. But than again, Belichick never does what you expect, so who knows?

I predict the final score will be closer than the media guys think. The Colts will pull out all the stops to prove they belong in the same sentence with the Pats.

Prediction - Pats 28, Colts 21.

Depending on how much of the starting line up fouls out...

If the googly bowler holds down the toecrushers in the third test, then Kensington has a chance, according to the Duckworth-Lewis method. I think that yorker's flik balk will get called a carry when he tries it on the hairpin net shots. They'll all end up two birdies and a bogey for 2 under par. That said, my money's on the Fighting Wildebeests.

Ridgemont!!!!... My old man is a television repairman, he's got this ultimate set of tools. I can fix it...

Honestly, I have a bad feeling about this one, the colts looked so damn good against Denver, in Denver. I gots me toes crossed for the Pats.

I was hoping for sloppy weather. The Pats run game is key. Mercilessly pound the ball down their throats and the Colts defense will break.

I wish for a 51-0 blowout just so they will stop with the Peyton Manning commericals.

But in reality it will be, Let's say Gostokowski hits a 43 yarder with 5 seconds left to win it 27-24.

I can picture Maroney and Dillon teaming up for 200+ yards in this one. Pats all the way. Indy doesn't have a chance if they can't stop the run.

the pats seem to have the magic formula against everyone but denver. they played the colts in the playoffs a couple years back at their stadium, and won, i don't think too much has changed, as long as we can control manning. 28-17 pats

Along with Denver, it seems that Miami's defense give Brady fits. Something the media folks has noticed and asked Belichick. The coach didn't bite on the question. Maybe its something he will write or talk about when he has retire from the game.

Hell of a game so far. Best game of the day though was the Washington Redskins vs. the Cowgirls. What an ending.

I gotta say that I'm with Madden on his analysis of the Pats playcalling in the second half. I was talking to my friend on the phone for the duration of the second half (yes it was a long call) and we were at a loss to determine why the heck the Pats stopped running the ball. They ran at will for the first half then stopped. No excuse for it.

Let's see, a dome team, in foxboro, for a night game, with temps lsted in the 30's (yeah right)

Now you know why I don't gamble......

Let me quote the AP

"Peyton Manning got help from an unlikely source....his Defense"

OK, fine, but Brady throw 4 (count'em, 4) INT's?

I would say that the Peyton got more help from Brady.....and 1 in the ennd zone?

Hey, good news for the J-E-T-S Jets, Jets, Jets.....

The better team won last night. I have a feeling they will meet again in the playoffs, most likely at Indy.

I think it will be an interesting game once the coaching staff has a normal week to prepare and receivers gets more experience in reading coverages.

you know what though? this was the regular season. I didn't see the game, so I'm not going to talk about how they played. But the pats played the rams in the reg season in 01 and lost, and then ended up beating them in dramatic fashion in the superbowl. if the pats have proved one thing under belicheck its that they learn from their mistakes. lets see if they can make it to the playoffs and then take down indy.
