Quick report since I'm at work.

We're in the finals, although last night was the worst night.

Arrived last minute after skiing Magic with my dad most of the day. No ga2ski or djspookman. One "jump" (more of a drop) in the course, which I thought was pretty fun (I missed the jump night a couple years ago). Soft snow rutted up quickly and was quite slow on the flat of Twister if you weren't clean enough above. Seth destroyed the course on his p4's finishing 4th - not too many nights you can race and do well on 108 underfoot. I missed it, but I guess skibum9995 supermanned the jump pre-race. No crashes for him racing though. I was average, best run was barely a silver. Very nice conditions for freeskiing, too bad I had to cut out early. I imagine the video (camera right next to the jump) was pretty good as well.

Glad we didn't really need Monday. Attendance was sparse, Scott missed his 2nd time by waiting for the rest of the group at the bottom (plus no vortex chair). It was actually 007 that pulled our average down the most with a 1.000 (and a DSQ). Can't say I blame you for staying up north though.

Totally forgot to sign up for King of the Hill.

It was a fun course, I enjoyed the jump despite the superman during inspection. First run I hit it without incident then second time around I somehow ended up face first in the snow with my gear scattered around. The new snow and long runout really killed me tonight. I felt super slow gliding, but felt that I skied decently.
