Planning a ski trip to replace the Tahoe one.... help?

Argh, just cancelled my flights to and from Tahoe for this week. We were planning on leaving tomorrow. My buddy was in Tahoe over the weekend and said its getting better, but definitely don't come out yet. Unfortunately, i'm pissed because tickets are now much more pricey for the same route. We were going to be heading out for $100pp out there, and $105pp back. Now, tickets are $161pp out, and $205 coming back.... Oh well, you win some and you lose some.
