If your not familiar with Plattekill, it was closed Monday to Thursday and will reopen for Fri, Sat, and Sun as usual, which means fresh tracks Friday and even into Saturday.
Plattekill received 10-12" of NEW SNOW as of 4:30pm and it's STILL SNOWING!
We decided to hold out on opening for a "Powder Daize" Thursday even though we're real close to 1 FOOT of snow (possibly more at the summit) in an effort to pack this new snow and build up our base on our natural cover trails so we can open them for the first time this season starting Friday. This will make for some FANTASTIC CONDITIONS COMING UP as we'll be 100% in operation (and rest assured they'll be plenty of untouched powder too) for Friday's opening...HOPE TO SEE YOU HERE!!!
