good to hear

so, much better than the past couple of years yes?

This year was a 100 times better than the past two years. Parking lot scene was fun and they don't need to even bother with a big name band next year. In fact I hope they don't. There was herds of people roaming around who didn't even know what the BMMC was and probably have never skied. On snow BBQ's would be great again, but I'm happy with just being able to tailgate in the parking lot again. It was a great weekend!

my friends who were there just for the show and not skiing said it was rather annoying to have park off site and shuttle in for the show.

They went to a free show??? Tell them to get over it. The lines for the shuttle buses were pretty huge at the end. I saw one women get in front of a car to make them stop and then proceeded to try and get into their car.

Back in the glory days of the BMMC you would have to ride shuttle buses to get to Bear. Oh the memories of what was.

Time Will Tell.

I still can't believe how many state police were in town. It's like they had a convention or somethin'.

The convention was moe's. The subject was hippie-ness and stoner-sonics. The police where just following the smoke signals, literally. Surprised? Why??

Someone mentioned Powdr being out of touch with the East Coast. Yes, agreed. Why they engaged an agency from Denver and not Boston, NYC or even Philly shows how they think. How long do you think it will be before they realize Killington isn't Denver/Boulder? Nor can Killington Resort be compared to Vail.

As for the event being 2 weeks earlier, well it seems that those who are favor of going back to early April have lost track of the fact that over the last 3 - 4 years Spring has come earlier and harder. Moving it up makes sense, even if Mother Nature didn't play along this year. Also, moving up should help with getting non snow lovers engaged. Let's face it, by early April, CT, Mass, NY, NJ and Pa are all thinking baseball. Trying to get those masses attention for a snow event isn't likely.

There are changes are Killington and time will tell if Powdr got it right.

You have this backwards. The reason you hold events every weekend in April is to promote the hell out of your spring skiing product. Big party. Fun in the sun. Way better than tee ball or slicing your golf ball into the woods. POWDR is cluless about marketing their spring product. You should go on their web site and see a huge blurb saying what fun activities are going on next weekend. It's Easter. There should be 3 or 4 things happening.

The number one reason spring skiing will never be the same again, is that parents and kids are forced to play baseball and soccer year round to keep up with each other. They have to coach and drive. Fortunately, my kids don't play spring sports.
