Predict when Paul Kocin will finally get back to work at the Weather Channel and bring us some winter storms.

I say somewhere in the country is gonna get nailed for Thanksgiving and shut down some airports... probably will end up being Chicago and we'll have to wait a couple more weeks past that for a Nor'Easter.

Really I thought they just locked the guy up and fed him cigarettes only let him out during the summer months when he talks about the "march '93 Superstorm".

Its sad state of affairs at the WC to see paul kocin freelance-predicting

They gotta get them ratings up. Pessimists that they are, they don't believe there are enough winter storms anymore to paralyze the nation. So hire those hurricane forecasters (hmmm, that didn't work out this year...), or.... maybe tornado chasers.
Hmmm. global warming isn't going to help the WC ratings now is it? Imagine a desert forecast like Nevada. Today, hot and sunny, tonight, hot and dark, tommorrow, hot and sunny. Not very attractive.

I'm stoked- bought a newer AWD car and the skis are right next to the car and the ski bag is packet and ready to go. Sadly, last season, I had to bolt as soon as the goods struck (I guess that's a good problem). Waiting 2 or more days after the dump and we flirted with rain... If NE poops out, Rockies here I come...
