I can start by saying that we were at ESA Big Sky for nearly a week of fresh snow every day. When we were skiing it, it was fluffy powder, but after settling on the rented van for a week, it was somewhat less fluffy.

Yep, lots of lazy people. I was laughing at a driver a couple of years ago who only cleaned her windshield and then when she came to a stop sign all the snow from the roof slid onto her windshield. She had to get out right there and clean her windshield off because the snow was too heavy for the wipers.

Being closer actually seems safer, since then the sheet just goes over you. The sheets off semis really get some hang time.

When I got hit I was in the fast lane and the truck was in the slow lane.. I try not to tailgate...
