5/22 - 185cm Black Diamond Kilowatts mounted with freerides were stolen from the deck at HoJo's. The skis belong to the caretaker.

Whoever the douche is who stole these, please return them.

it's probably a sign that Tux is getting too popular for its own good.

Getting? I think it's been that way since the 1950's...

Luke was showing off the skis and bindings when I was up there... Cool stuff...

Has any one that was surprised by this been to Tuckerman Ravine on a busy weekend lately? This is not civil backcountry and the place certainly attracts a lot of folks that are not exactly the most ethically inclined (though that is probably the minority). I recall seeing a bunch of punk teens skiing down the TRT one day after crossing over from the Sherbie because they were to good to follow regulation and down hike like everyone else. This incident major sucks but Tuckerman Ravine on a blue bird weekend in the spring isn't exactly the backcountry.

I haven't skied Tuckerman on a weekend in a long long time, and mostly for the reasons above. Great Gulf, Gulf of Slides sure, but the ravine no. A much better experience to be had on a weekday!

the bowl is awesome on the weekends... A total party..

you don't go to the bowl just to ski.. You go for the shared experience...

We usually go up for a few days... And end the trip with a day at the bowl just to watch the action..

Actually - wishing people bad karma... is bad karma...

Could explain some stuff in your life... :)

Nah. I hope the person blows both acl's on their first run somewhere deep in uninhabited backcountry. Alone.

Hahaha...wow I never knew that...I've wished bad things to many people before. One bully from high school..I wished he'd die..and 2-3 years later he died in a car crash...so don't get on my bad side..:p
