I am curious, what did everyone pick up at the ski expo? My loot:

1 free ticket to Cranmore via a Twitter give-away
2 tickets to Great Glen Trails for joining the Friends of Tuckerman Ravine
2 free tickets to Ragged from their "cash booth" machine
2 neck warmers from AttiCat
$2250 in AttiCat gift cards for $1800. These can be used at any Peak Resorts mountain. I'll use them for season passes and lots of beer.
2 Fan Fare cards to Mount Snow, including a free ticket. They are giving them for free to Granite Pass holders.
4 of the early season Bretton Woods tickets for $19 each

What did I miss? Anything worth returning for?

I picked up several of those "gift cards" also. I typically use them in Ptarmigans for the bar tab over the course of the season for the 25% discount. Actually the mountain should do that for the regulars, we drop so much money there with our family seasons passes, food beverage etc... and we get few if any perks. Also those paper thin black things I wouldn't call a neck warmer, a bandana maybe... Hahah.

The voucher that you print out for Sugarbush (and REI) Have unique codes/bar codes. The one for Burke does not. Not sure how they track it and being the evil genius I am can it be used multiple times? They may record your name somewhere but the way they operate will they?

My son came to me this morning out of the blue and handed me a Nashoba Valley anytime voucher and a Waterville 2 fer. However the WV 2 fer is redundant since The Ride and Ski Card has WV 2 Fer Sunday - Friday.

I actually think this was a better show in years for scoring lift ticket vouchers. You had to play the games (spin wheels, wear the shirts, show up for scheduled scratch ticket frenzies, etc.). There were also deals that can not be had online for example buy K's Express Card for $79 ($20 off) and it comes preloaded with a lift ticket! Bolton Valley had $25 lift tickets and $100 quad packs, Bretton Woods lift tickets deals ($19 Early Season, $35 Golden Ticket, and $59 Anytime Ticket) that so far I have not seen on their website. There were plenty of others. I did find that many of the three and four packs are starting to get pricey, IMO.

Oh and we got three Cannon T-shirts, 5-6 Killington Shirts, bunch of Koozies, new wall paper for my office.

Did he try to convince you to invest in his EB-5 program?

Obviously Q did not give you any love....

Looks you snagged a pretty sweet hat.

Differ as I might with some decisions made, he is a helluva a leader in my book. He came down to the show and was handing out stickers, rolling up posters and helping people signup for stuff. He's down in the trenches with the troops. There was nothing distinguishable about him other than his name tag. Most people had no clue who he is. Stayed there for hours. That he is approachable, not hob-nobbing with a select few, given the size of his operation demonstrates that he cares about the customers. Didn't see any other of his head office staff, we talked with most of the folks there. Then again, I may be pretty ignorant in the who's who department.

p.s., still waiting for my Revelstoke permanent resident card. ;)

Stenger is a good guy for sure. It's too bad that they've run into issues. He has always been very hands-on.

I wondered the same thing about Burke. Since 2 of these vouchers are for our kids, I'm not sure if should put them in our names (adults) or theirs (they don't have "photo id"!... At the very least, I will use different email addresses for each. But, yes, it seems like quite an oversight by Burke.

I popped in first night, yeah a big waste of $ but I'm so close by, why not. I love the cashmere scarf vendor - got a bunch for Xmas gifts - buy 5 get one free. A few stickers, a couple of posters and that was it. I ski 98% of the time at my home mountain, so don't really look for freebies. Unless I missed it, the Sunday River table looked pretty weak, I was hoping for a poster, just pocket trail maps and same ole stickers. Jay Peak had real nice stickers. (guess it's all about the stickers and posters for me :) )

Jay Peak had real nice posters too! Burke is trying to follow their marketing style - I am sure they are leveraging marketing between the two.

It does have a spot to put in your id instead - I think it says "parent/Guardian ID" with their name

The Boyne mountains are always weak. They setup a huge area to sell lodging packages but have no real deals.

I too love the scarf vendor. I must have missed them this year, but have bought several in the past. They are a fantastic deal there versus a store. It didn't occur to me to buy them as gifts. Great idea!
