It looks like some thieves saw a long line of people, $$ in hand to buy a video game, as good targets.

I've been looking at the Nintendo Wii for my son, but there's NO WAY I'm going to wait in any lines to get it.

Yeah, you have to give some credit to the two thieves for creativity.

That and a quarter will get them a phone call from jail.

Even my 10 and 12 year old boys who both love gaming tell me that the costs for new consoles and the craziness people will go through to buy one are stupid.

This whole scenario is yet another sign of The dumbing down of America. ---people waiting in awful weather for a stupid game

Unreal -i guess that demonstrates just how sad things have gotten.

Why we he refuse if he had no plan to fight back??? Stupid

He probably thought the other people in line with him would help him. That was his mistake...everyone behind him would have stepped over his dead body (if he had been killed) and not even blinked just to get 1 place further ahead in line.

Sad but likely true.

Man, that is one cynical viewpoint.

And pretty much exactly what I thought.

pathetic. A) that the poor guy got shot and B) that people take a video game so seriously.

besides, we all know that the old sega pga golf, madden football and NHL hockey will never be bested.

No; rue the day when you do think you're missing something regarding something like this.

The "waiting in line to buy one" and even "waiting in line to buy concert tix" thing has to be modified. This will just keep happening...

I don't know, I think some of the old C64 games (Blue Max, Raid Over Bungling Bay, Beach Head) were awesome. Of course, none hold a candle to River Raid and Pitfall from Atari...

ahh Pitfall, now there is a memory jogger. Used to love Haunted House on Atari also.

River Raid, there's a classic. I wasted way too much time playing that as a kid...

I drive by that store everyday on my way to work. There's a reason we call that town "Putscum."

And no, it wasn't me. Bastards.
