day started out with a bang, locked the keys in the car, fortunately one of the guys from the maintenance shop came up and opened the door for me(looked like he had alot of experience with this), hit the slopes around 9, grooming was excellent, snow conditions were great until noon, started getting a little icy after lunch, skied pretty much everything open and they were all equal, no crowds, no lift lines, headed out around 3 when the legs gave out, this was my first trip there but definitely plan on heading back when they get some more snow

Did you see the cliffs on their natural terrain park? They were those massive rock walls on the trail looking up the mountain from the base.

yeah, those things looked sick, one of them had to be 20' high or more, hopefully they get some snow soon and can open more trails, was still a fun day

A lot of their trails have snowmaking or close enough to drag in some tguns but I think their cautious about where they blow snow for financial reasons.

I looked on the site and they say the drop is 25 feet. They have snowmaking on that trail but that landing looked pretty flat.

where its snowing
Fri 2nd

I was there on Friday the 2nd, my first day at Ragged.. a pretty good one, but not much terrain open yet... The Xmas warmup/rain looks like it did a number, and turned the base icy... Needs a few more storms at least so the trails they don't make snow on get coverage... I paid half-price with my ride and ski, CHaD card.... not bad for a holiday week :) lift-lines were short, but with so few trails open was a bit more crowded on the slopes and in lodge than I expected....
