Too tired to write much but the pics will help. Plenty of tree skiing with fluff! Should be good tomorrow yet. Spear is not open yet but they are charging midweek rates for now. Still plenty for intermediate/advanced skiers and riders. Reasonably well-managed 6-pack lift kept the line moving.

Considering that Ragged has no night skiing and generally less traffic-I would choose that for fluffy conditions with one large consideration. Gunstock probably has a lot more groomed options. Today was Ragged in its natural glory which typically means bump runs through the woods. The groomed coverage was okay, but limited. Either one should have some sweet corduroy (pronounced caw-droy) first thing.

Since I both ride and ski here is my recommendation: Ragged for skiers and the most aggressive, capable riders, Gunstock for the rest of the riders. I'm sure Gunstock will be fine for skiing too but these are the conditions where you can appreciate Ragged for what it is.
