The trees were absolutely lovely, especially in the valley between the two lifts.
Was at Ragged yesterday on Indy, first time back in over ten years. Place was MOBBED, Loon type lift lines. Talking 10-15 minutes from 10am straight thru 2 when I left. They run the quad and 6-pack at basically the same capacity(8sec intervals on quad and 12sec on the 6 between chair loads) which I found odd. It felt like the 6 could add a couple carriers to gobble up more people. I find it hard to believe they’re just scraping by if these crowds are consistent during the core season.
The trees were absolutely lovely, especially in the valley between the two lifts. Seemed like without the woods it would’ve gotten a little old quick with the short-ish runs down to big lines.
True....but even when I went there last year and Barnyard was spinning, the lift lines were like Loon.
IMO, they should put in a lower mountain lift again that dumps folks out at the top of the terrain park. That would syphon a fair amount of traffic off the Six.

I heard rumors, from a friend of the new ownership, that one option mentioned for the expansion area is an uphill only pod. Some of it is accessible now, but I have no idea how much clearing the locals do.How about putting that new lift into the Pinnacle Peak area instead, where the previous owner already cut new trails ? That would really help spread people out.
