SAM Magazine—Bartlett, N.H., June 18, 2013—Peak Resorts has realigned management at several areas by promoting three individuals from within the company.
Josh Boyd is now president of Boston Mills, Brandywine and Alpine Valley Ski Area, all in Ohio. Boyd has served as general manager of Wildcat Mountain since 2011. He will be relocating to Ohio soon, as he will be responsible for operation of the three areas during the upcoming 2013-14 season.
John Lowell now serves as president of both Attitash Mountain Resort and Wildcat Mountain, adding authority over Wildcat to his previous responsibility for Attitash, where he has been general manager for the past two years.
Brian Heon becomes general manager of Wildcat Mountain. Heon has served as lift operations director for Mount Snow for more than three years. Brian and family are relocating to the North Conway area at the end of June.
On a personal note, Brian is a friend of mine, who originally came to Mount Snow from The Canyons, He's a really smart, approachable, hands on guy, and I think that he'll make a great GM at Wildcat!
