Not sure what the weather is doing up there right now. Mountain says they picked up 10-12. It's a low traffic area. Probably likely to find lots of untracked tomorrow for those who go.

Figures, I've been waiting all season for this, can't get off work and already have firm plans to ski Vermont this weekend.

The only thing people will be finding tomorrow at Ragged (or, really any ski area in New England) will be huge puddles of water and slush. You're not going to miss anything on Thursday because it will be pouring (RAIN) much of the day.

Hey Danny Boy! Why don't you go blow some Fresca out your nose!

;)

yeah, things don't look good. Was hoping any cold mass from the northwest would beat down this warm front coming in from the south, but it's not looking good for anywhere but areas of NYS and high elevations in the greens. :(

What's up with Ragged's website? I looked at it earlier and saw everything open, now when I look at it, there seems to be a whole new web site design, including a snow report on the front page. They seem to have closed half the trails now (all the blacks except the short headwall trail).

Sunapee and Gunstock are also on partial operations today, so the rain must be hitting them all pretty hard.

Very dangerous to launch a web re-design mid-season.

On the new website, the Snow Report is from 2/3/2010. They might want to get that fixed.

Improved, but still completely inaccurate on the trail report

It's a start. Their website has sucked. They really need to include a 'blog' on the snow report like most other mountains. I wonder if the previous design was limiting that.

While generally I'd agree with you billski; their site was so bad as it was, I for one like to see that they're making an effort to improve.

I'm less concerned about the web design and more concerned about the timeliness/accuracy of the information. The previous snow report format would have been fine if they kept it up to date.

Yes, their website is less than impressive. If an area gets 12 inches of snow, which around these parts is a big thing, it should announce it right at the opening front page. At least now they have it listed with the trail report.

I normally just wouldn't care, but because my kids like to ski there and it's a family friendly area (pricing included), I do keep an eye on the conditions here.
If they would only seed some bumps!!!
When I take a day off during the week to cacth a solo day, Ragged is not exactly my first choice.
