CAMDEN, Maine — The second annual Ragged Mountain Seacoast Classic is slated for Sunday January 23 at the Camden Snow Bowl. This fun race for all ages will be a Giant Slalom course on the Foxy trail.
Racers will compete in six classes, age groups J6, J5, J4, J3, 15 and over, and a snowboard class. Awards will follow the race and include bib drawings with something for everyone. In addition the first 100 entries will receive a race t-shirt designed especially for the event.
Race registration will be 7:30 – 9:00 am on January 23 in the base lodge at the Snow Bowl followed by course inspection from 9:00 – 10:00 am with race start at 10:00 am. Entry fee is $15.00 with a Snow Bowl season pass or a $20.00 entry fee that includes a lift ticket.
The Ragged Mountain Seacoast Classic is organized by the Ragged Mountain Ski & Snowboard Club. Over fifteen local businesses are sponsoring the event. For more information contact the Camden Snow Bowl office at 236-3438.
