4 stars. Tale of two seasons: November to January was tough; then February to April was great. I project skiing into mid-May and, if there are a few hardy souls here to point the way, June skiing could be an option. With the late start to all the seasons, we should start getting used to a Christmas to Labor Day ski season.

I give it a full 5 stars. I was able to make all the big storms, so I was rewarded with multiple feet of powder on a bunch of different trips....and, it was mostly light fluffy stuff too.... Plus, although it started late, almost every mountain went later than they expected, and the season should last very late for those hikers out there.

4.

Sorry, but no season that started the way this one did deserves 5 stars, regardless of how good the spring is. It was a lot better than last year, but was just too short.

*****:spread: :snow: I had 20 days in VT ( Smuggs, Mount Snow, Killington( 4 pow days)) 1 Day at Hunter Ny, and 20+ days in PA ( Sno Mtn, Elk, Camelback (2 pow days) ) and 3 days Whistler BC! It was a great season. I packed my boots out after only two seasons. Need new insoles or custom insoles for next year. ....... Tucks in May ???? There is a lot of snow I hear.

1 star for the early season (November to December)
2 stars for January
5 stars for Febuary and March
10 stars for April!!! I mean we had multiple powder days through April 15th followed a week later with spring skiing with tons of snow and 65 degree days on the mountain!

These last two months have changed my vote from 2 stars to 4 stars. The beginning was the worst I can remember but the end was great. I never expected it to last that long. Full trailedge-to-trailedge coverage on Friday, April 20th, with some snow in the woods that I actually could have utilized if I wasn't a baby about my bases. Hero bumps everywhere. Where was I? Stowe, Jay, Sugarbush? No! Belleayre in the Catskills of all places. Too bad, if the early season was just mediocre, I'd given this 5 stars.

I rated it 3 stars. The early season was soso conditions wise, and then I got injured last day of Jan. when conditions were just getting good. I did get in some good skiing in Feb and early march but I was skiing in pain and taking it pretty easy. I did hit some new mountains and meet some new people though. Those were good times. Probably the best day was at Cannon at the AZ gathering. The skiing was good, the pain was manageable, and the friendship and beer was awesome. The doctors have asured me that I will be healthy for next season so I am looking forward to it. Racing, moguls, powder days, and trying tree skiing are on the agenda. I got a new pair of skis in March that should be good for all mountain stuff!
