Those are adorable! :D

I should just bring the ratty pair of $20 ski-swap boots tonight and let Mags clomp around in those for a while. Would keep her happy for a bit.

Those dalbello boots I pictured above are the smallest pair of dalbello's you can find. The only one smaller that is a "real" ski boot are the Nordicas, which are an amazing little boot.

But, ya know, ya gotta give the diva a dalbello :)

What do you mean "real"? I just picked up these little guys (15.5 mondo) the smallest I could find:

Head Carve X1. They look pretty "real" to me.

I've also got a pair of 16.5 dalbellos for my daughter.

Those are very real ;)

As I said to my gf when we got her daughters skis and boots out.......have you ever seen a cuter pair of skis and boots?
The bindings on the skis take up most of the ski length. :)

Dalbellos I posted above[/URL], is a pair I got for my girlfriends little girl.
They are 14.5
Nordica has one that goes down to 14.0

Very cool, didn't think you could get smaller than 15.0. The 15's are tad long for my son, but he has rectangular feet and fills out the width.

I got some 67cm heads for him too, not mounted up yet, but you won't see much of the graphics. ;-)

Nice thread split. Thanks! This is good ski/boot information for those who have kids.

There is a pair of dynastar skis that have kind of a scale on the bottom so that they can ski okay to learn but won't easily slide backwards.
I'm not sure which model that is tho.

BTW, whoever did the thread split forgot to move the most important post over. The one that all started it which was Carrie describing her energetic kids and the special performance under the desk.

 was this too far off topic from the Krypton thread? :p

We wouldn't want this kiddie stuff tainting the Krypton thread, now would we? ;)

I did the split, you're welcome. I was going to post about the split, but the call of lunch was too great. ;)

I didn't forget to move that post. I figured it was just fine getting buried in the Krypton chatter. :p

Phil's just picking on those who wear boots a size too small, so they can perform better. ;)
My GF's little girl will be 2 in December. I'm sure she will be play skiing this year, but at least they are going to play with her to get her excited about it.

The master plan is to play with her to put boots, and ski duds on to play in the snow
make sure that she connects putting on all the stuff, with having fun.
Then take her to the hill to find out how much fun the magic carpet is.

I'll get pics ;)

Ah right, plug fit = plug boots.

Same with my son. He just turned 2, so I'll be putting my daughter (5) in ski school for the morning and then putzing around with my boy on the magic carpet.

Mags was 2.5 when we got her out last year. She picked out her $20 230mm BSL ski boots at the ski swap last year (where she also walked up to a pair of $10 90cm skis, hugged them, brought them back over to us and told us they were hers <3 ). We let her play with the equipment to get her used to it. And she loved getting out on her skis last winter and scuffing around on them. Magic carpet was a hoot.

This year the plan is to get boots that actually fit. I think the skis will work though since she's so darn tall. Too young for lessons still (need to be 4 years old at the home hill) but we'll get her out for some fun. She's hoping to get to ride the chairlift this year.

Get lots of pics!!!
