Here is a recent picture of Sugarloaf from a few days ago taken off of the Sugarloaf chat site. Several of the upper mountain trails are nearly 100% covered. Too bad they are closed :x

It is sad. But that's why us AZer's and other outdoor enthusiasts need to take up the burdern of trying to encourage others to SKI/RIDE late season so that we can enjoy 'every last drop' of the season

A bit optimistic...I know...

Yes it is sad to see all of that snow wasting away. Sugarloaf is an ideal place to extend the ski season mountain wise, unfortunately it is far away from most everyone, and being so large, it must be expensive to operate late in the season.

The place is expensive to operate, period. That's why we didn't get such a good deal with them for a vaca. Ozzyskier...can you give us some specs here?

Again, we need to get more folks skiing and riding...to make our sport once again a growth sport and more choices for us die hards  Just be sure to direct them all to other areas besides your own home hill so you have more elbow room

Speaking of which...still haven't made a decision as to which home will be the home hill given a rumor that I've caught wind of... :-?

We're actually hoping that Hunter extends it's season once the big hotel gets built..
