Has anyone been up on the Teardrop since the recent Sunday-Wednesday series of storms? This trip report from Stowe makes the upper-elevation trees sound promising. The Mansfield stake is at its season-high (90"), but this week's snow was extremely elevation-dependent, and I'm curious if the lower half of Teardrop is skiable.
For reference, I skied Camel's Hump a couple days ago and the summit was hammered with snow, while the lower 25% of the trail was completely bare. The middle, as you would expect, was a little touch and go between the bare bottom, and the snow-covered top 25%. I'm assuming Teardrop will have a similar snow line--but I wonder if the coverage is a little better. Anyone have first-hand knowledge?
