I'll be going from Boston, up to Bangor and I have 3 days of time. So I thought I'll rent a car and go up to NH and Vermont to hit some mountains to ski.

Any advice which mountains I should definitely hit and which ones I can leave out?

Right now I'm thinking about Loon, Cannon, Burke, Jay Peak and eventually Sunday River.

I'm not sure if Killington is worth the extra distance and I'm not sure about Jay Peak either.

I'm not a big Park skier, I usually love skiing through woods and threes and bc. But unfortunally I'll probably be alone.

So if somebody will be around from 2nd to 5th february in some of the places, it would be great to have a local showing me some trails or spots.

Need more info.
What kinds of mountains have you skied before that you REALLY like and why?
What can you really do without? Are you just into the skiing or do you care about the apres-ski stuff?

Well, I'm from Europe, so I didn't ski any mountain in NA. First time I'll ski there.

Over here I've been to many places, skiing for 25 years already so you can bet that I definitely prefer expert trails and powder. I started learning to ski in the park this season but as I'm feeling a little bit old in the Parks, I usually prefer using kickers, jumps and cliffs in the bc to have fun. Why? Because I like the deep snow and not groomed trails, and I really like using and looking for natural lines between threes, cliffs, rocks or snow-waves along the trail.

I'm not so interested in apres ski unless I'll find somebody to hang around and have some beers. Obviousley if some chicks are around I'm always willing to stay out longer.
