The roads on the way to school, particularly VT Route 14, now has massive potholes and breaking pavement on them because of the bad freeze-thaw cycles during the past few days. Lots of broken pavement on that road...I've never seen this much before

Anyone else seeing this as well?

Drive with care!

If you drive faster you'll just skip over the pot-holes, you'll hardly even notice them... ;)

JK, I can't say I've noticed any additional wear and tear over what we normally get...

There was a book on Boston driving I saw a while ago that mentioned this...I think it was called the "warp 5 approach" or something like that...

Good memory, it is the "Warp 5 Approach". The book called the The Boston Driver's Handbook, which my dad gave me over 25 years ago when I got my (MA) license and I think is still in print.

Never use a turn signal- there's no sense in tipping off the enemy.

Honestly, I haven't noticed any difference on 93. That road's always so beat up and ugly, they could lay down gravel and people would remark on the improvement. Potholes so big you could lose a Volkswagen in 'em.

im actually surprised at how well binghamton roads have held up. The normal potholes are still avoidable. But its hard to tell, usually right now they are still invisble ice ponds.
