Pics from Gore on Saturday, Pretty dangerous at times with people falling and stopping right in the middle of the only skiable paths through the rocks. At some spots on topridge you had to take your skis off unless you wanted to detroy them.

Some little kids would ski right through the dirt and rocks, If iI tried that I would probably break something on me or my skis, but I guess when your that young and you dont pay for your equipement who cares! we did make the best of it that day and I was skiing in a t-shirt.in Jan. I Hope I can never do that again. It was 60 at the base 50 at the top of the gondi!

I am amazed that Gore would LET people ski that !

Its irresponsible ,but then again you can't protect a fool from his destiny
i see nothing wrong with those pictures as long as the trail was marked thin cover at the start of the trail. it is perfectly acceptable to allow skiers down a trail with some thin spots, especially during the spring.

oh, wait a second... :-o

Looks like Liftline or Lower Canyon at Mad River Glen in mid-April.

Wow, that might take the prize. Now I'm thinking Belleayre was actually in great shape on Sunday. I really like that extended stretch of pure water ice near the middle left of the picture (at least I think that's ice - maybe rock?). Try carving on that!

There was worse trails, those are just some pics i took from the gondola, and yes that is a sheet of ice on that one trail in the first pic where the snowboarder is sitting on it.
