Trip Report:
Great turns on the mountain for May Day. Daily report said that this is the first time since the '70's the mountain has been open in May.

Most of the snow making trails had very good coverage. Royal Coachman, Grey Ghost, Green Weaver, Blue Devil were pretty much wall to wall. From the top Tightline was very good. Supervisor got a bit narrow in spots but was fun. Peachy's Peril bumps were great.

Made a couple trips into the woods late day. Intimidator and Dark Wizard still had loads of snow.

They are running out of snow at the top of the Kennabago Quad. Tri Color was pretty dicey and the first part of the cross cut was thin. They will have to push some snow around if they are going to try for another weekend up there.

Crowd was pretty light but they definitely sold some lift tickets today. Hope the tickets and burgers were enough to make it worth it for them as the glorious sunshine day and burgers and brews on the deck were great. Thanks Saddleback for seeing us into May!

Was there with a couple of friends as well. I could't believe the amount of snow still in Casablanca. Got last chair on the Kennebego quad and they pulled the rope as we skied off to the left of the quad. Last 2 people on that side of the hill! Great day but the crowd was very light. Sounded like they were pulling the plug on the season yesterday.
