Was planning on hitting blue for a few late afternoon turns but being pressed for time decided to hit salisbury instead. set out from dodson trail head about 4:10. snow was suprisingly grippy and steerable down the yellow to orange to lower red. nice tracks to follow.

turned around after watching the sun go down to follow my tracks back out the same way.

climbing was another story and ended up hiking about a third or so of the 4 miles. snowlit ride out was super cool in an eerie sort of way.

the reflection of the snow coming off the front tire and ice crystals being blown off the trees went well with the crunch of the crust and and the headpod shuffle of little feat - easy to slip and steve earle satellite radio

Awesome...

I would give some snow riding a try, but seeing that there is about 1.5 feet on the ground in Lynn woods I don't think it work too well.:dunce:
