The members here were awesome when it came to recommendations to see Seattle so I'm hoping there are others who have suggestions for San Francisco.
I'm staying in downtown at the Top of the Mark.
Length of stay isn't very long, so I'm cramming to make the most of a business trip. Tues-Thursday am.
I arrive on Tuesday a little after noon and have already booked Alcatraz tickets. (childhood dream, I NEED to see this before it is closed).
Tuesday evening I can grab a bite to eat somewhere- any suggestions? I mainly want seafood/fish tacos.
Wednesday morning/afternoon is the customer call.
Return to downtown late Wednesday around 6pm and have the night to myself.
Looking for a night time activity and somewhere remarkable (and reasonably priced, again this is a business trip) to eat.
Thursday morning I have to be leaving downtown by 10am. I have a run planned for the early morning to see some of the sights: California -> Hyde St -> Russian Hill (to see Lombard curves) -> Pier 39 (if I haven't already been the night before) -> Embarcadero and return via Market and Powell st to get into Chinatown in time for a dim sum breakfast.
Any suggestions or modifications there?

I'd love to run or bike across the Golden Gate, but probably won't have time for that.
I was suggested a sushi restaurant on California and Van Ness, but the name was not in the suggestions.
Time is a major crunch and a lot of this will be done on foot- driving to red woods, etc is out. Whatever anyone can spare for advice would be greatly accepted! Looking for scenic sights in the area I may have missed, an evening activity, dining.
Thanks!
