Just hiked sanderson brook falls in the chester blandford state park in chester ma. Very underated and almost unknown hike. Sanderson brook falls is just a mile or so out of the parking lot and is large and very scenic there is also a summit view of the westfield river watershed. Lesser known but more impressive to me is goldmine brook which has tons of smaller waterfalls on it and is just down the road and links up with the summit and sdanderson brook trail. I did it as a loop by going up goldmine brook opn a trail nest to the bridge off of rt 20 thenwent to the summit on mica mine road then around the summit loop and down the steep trail next to the Sanderson brook parking lot and down the road and along the rail road tracks next to the westfield river. Lots of stuff to hike here lots that needs to be cleared out and linked up very cool area.
