(ha, good one) Well, it does give us the distinction of having the only 4 event triathlon.... The 4th event was added in the 1980's during some lackluster winters. Since it is never cancelled due to weather, there are years that only 3 legs can be done. Once in a while the river is not navigable, so paddlers ran. Or one year we had a blizzard and bikers had to run. Form a team or go Iron- Register online- it's a blast!

so its really a triquattrothon....depending on conditions...would love to attend but i'm knee deep in training for the Half Ironman in Providence in July (and a few spint tri's as well)
