What a bizarre day on the hill. Started out a beautiful Winter morning. Bright sunshine, temps in the 30's, freshly groomed trails. By afternoon, Spring skiing was in full effect, temps pushing 50, soft Spring snow. It was all good, Hercules skied great in the afternoon, an unusual thing at the end of December. I can't recall such a drastic change in conditions throughout the day as there was today, it was freaky. Sucked seeing bare spots appear before your eyes however. I wonder if the snow will corn up today? I,m waiting for it to soften up before I head up today. Rain is on its way, yeah. The chairlift rides where much more pleasurable than Monday's, 9 degrees, 40 mph winds.
