a bunch of guys in CT just creamed in their bike shorts...they're called the C.L.I.T.S. and seeded bump runs are their holyland...if its true, they'll make a pilgrimage to K-town. Incense, chanting, duct tape, knee pads, and short poles...

Hold on you can leave Ct and ski other places? Did you send out a memo.

I wonder how the k regulars feel and the bumps on superstar being seeded. Probably better than if they mowed it down.

fat skis and snowboards are making the bump lines into spaced out walls, so having perfect left rights has the k-town regulars pumped (and will keep them from going to other mtns for a bump fix when the natural bumps arent so good)

But will the public actually get to use them or are they just for the Killington Ski Club/Killington Mountain School Freestylers?????

I miss the old Greg. The Greg who would answer these slurs against his beliefs and lead the other C.L.I.T.S. into battle………….Now just silence.

Cute.

BTW, I'm pretty sure Frank here is the same Frank who happened to place 2nd, losing to the Hammer, in the spring Sundown comp. Welcome Frank. Great news and I agree with your assessment of natural mogul quality.

I can see OL, but is Superstar the best option? The way it curves and has a slight double fall line seems to make it not the best trail candidate. I would think Double Dipper or Vertigo to be better options?

Also, if they're committed to bumps a lower angle run might be smart.

Skiers right might work.

I'm psyched.

I've always imagined Lower Needles eye down one of the sides would be perfect. Good intermediate pitch, VERY wide, and a good audience up in the gondola.

The whole middle section of Superstar is low angle.

Given how much money they sink into getting those terrain parks and half pipe going, this is a fairly low budget activity. What they really need to do on Superstar is blow snow on it pretty much weekly to keep the seeded bump line soft. That would give them the base for May skiing.

Killington has now retaken the title of the Mary Jane of the east from Mount Ellen/Sugarbush North with a simple press release...Johnny Mosely is apparentlyshopping for upscale condos in Rutland..

I can see skiers left of lower superstar. Thats a nice area, and they built a course there about 4 years ago in the spring.

AFA who would have access, even though my kid is on the A team at K and would have access either way, I REALLY hope it would be open to the general public.

Seeded or not, just tell them to stop mowing down the bumps....especially during the spring!!!!

yes, that would be a start!

but a few sections of seeded bumps at any mtn is a good thing. gives you a fall back when natty lines are hard to come by.

Believe it when you see it. Don't all the Kzone whiners doubt and complain about anything that Chris Nyberg says?
