The ski jonesing thread made me think I better put the last of my tuckermans ale on ice for tonight. There are some great ski area brews out there, sugars loafs has the “bag” brew, wachusettes I has a few from the wachusettes brewery. But those are the only ones I know of, any more good ski area brews I should put on my tap list? cheers!!

Sunday River IPA isn't half bad, and from time to time the Maple Leaf Brewery in Wilmington, VT makes a few barrels of Mount Snow Ale that they'll have on tap in the bar at The Grand Summit Hotel

Any of the long trails are a good call, anything by wachusett is clutch, SR has a pretty friggin' good brewery......and if you're ever out west, especially Montana, you definitly have to try some Moose Drool....it's unreal.

Anyone know of anywhere on the North Shore of MA where I can buy some Single Chair ale??? I've been looking for that stuff forever but only can find it when I'm in VT. Every packy I go to only sells the #9's, Blind Faith, Circus Boy and one or two of their seasonals. Maybe that's it, is the Single Chair a winter seasonal or year round?

Shed Mountain Ale is great stuff. But it'll whack you pretty hard and pretty fast. Fairly high alcohol content.

Ive been looking for it all over the nh seascoast and cant find the stuff. Like you said, the mix packs, #9, hocus pocus, jinx, blind faith but thats it.

I tend to drink good beer at home and cheap beer when skiing purely for economic reasons. With that said I second the SR brewery for good craft beers.

Any packy that stocks Magic Hat should be able to get the Single Chair from their distributor.
You just have to ask nicely, and maybe share one with them. I was able to get Barritt's Ginger Beer from my local liquor/wine store. Ask, and ye shall receive....

Good call, Ill catch the managers ear tonight. There is a great little natural foods store/butcher in Exeter NH that is known for stocking great craft brews.

They started stocking This Stuff a few weeks ago and I cant put it down.
