Lots of people hate on Mountain Creek and there are lots of things I hate about it...but...it's only 10 minutes from my house so I love that. Another 5 minutes down the road is Hidden Valley and another 20 minutes past that is Mt. Peter.
No huge mountains but I manage to ski almost every weekday or night that I'm off work, which is quite a few. HV is not crowded even on weekends so it's a great place to spend some weekend days with my son and in a couple of years with my daughter too. So people can hate on them but I'm having fun skiing as much as I can and I can just run out on a whim and get even an hour or two in if that's all I can squeeze in that day.
