Ski Area:Ski Butternut
Date Skied:12/10/2006, 11:00am to 2pm
Conditions: Sunny around 50 degrees, some scratchy surfaces with loose snow on top.
Trip Report: It was great to get out for the first time this season. There were only two open trails from the Highline Quad (Main Street & Nut Hatch) and the learning area had one lift going. The coverage was good with some scratchy spots. I left after 12 runs as it got quite boring. I still am happy I got the chance to hit the slopes while up in the area.
I was kind of surprised that the trails off of Highline were the first to open. As long as I can remember the Top Flight Quad was the first lift to turn with at least 2 ways down.
