I don't know if any of you have ever made it to the Ski Club of Great Britain discussion forum but over the last year or two it has become the focus of snowsports related discussion /info in the UK. That is it was, up until last week, when the SCGB, without warning barred access to all but paid up members of the club. This effectively shattered the community and left hundreds of people, some of whom had been contributing to the site for years, without any apparent means to contact each other.
In response to this www.snowHeads.com was set up immediately to give the exiled members of the ski club forum a place to re-group and focus their energies. The result has been amazing, with over 150 members tracked down and registered in a few days and it's really buzzing now.
However we still have a few freinds from the States who were present regularly on the SCGB site that we've not yet tracked down. If U use other snowsports discussion boards perhaps U could drop a brief mention of snowHeads and the fact that the SCGB people are there now, it may give them the pointer they need to find us again. Thanx.
BTW. all are welcome - if U r thinking of skiing Europe it's a really good place to start your research.
