I really need to buy a new pair of ski boots and was looking for some opinions. Golf and Ski is 10 min away. Walked through Aspen East a few weeks ago as well as K-ourfitters? at the base of Kmart access road. Any thoughts or recommendations + or -- about any of these places? Thanks

I purchased boots at Aspen East a couple of years ago. no complaints. When I felt a bit of pain, I took them back and Aspen worked with me to make them fit good. Also hear nothing but good things about Basin Ski Shop and Northern Ski Works with regards to boots.

Basin = $$$ but is a good shop.....Northern Ski Works is also a good shop....either place will take care of your needs. I might wait a couple more weeks though, they'll likely be "fire saleing" stuff in the coming weeks, due to winters late start..

In my opinion, Ray Garrett at The Basin Ski Shop is the best boot fitter around Killington.

Dave Strausse at Peak Performance has been doing the high end KMS racers and bumpers for many years.

Northern and Aspen East both have a well-established boot fitting history. I personally haven't done business with them.

I wouldn't do business with a shop owned by Killington (Killington Outfitters). You won't get the same level of experience in the boot department.

Northern has a 50%-off sale going to dump their inventory after this horrific winter. That makes it your first logical stop.
