Resort or Ski Area: Ski Sundown

Conditions: warm + sunny

Trip Report: Beautiful day on the slopes skiing with my daughter for the afternoon.

Was a little fearful of long lines and maniac racers today due to the Bill Johnson event but that was not the case. Lines were only a few moments wait at worst and we hardly noticed the racers at all.

Snow was pretty good. Sun was out but snow never really got heavy. Skied the sides of most trails where a lot of snow had been pushed to so conditions were pretty good. Hit the NE bumps a bit but didn't take Meg down Temptor. Tom's Treat to Papoose was the run of the day.

What time were you there? I was there 9-12:30. Great conditions all day.

Was there with my nephew who prefers to follow in my tracks than to have me follow him. Got him doing some parallel turns on Canyon and then he wanted to try Noreaster. First time down we hit the groomed side, then on the next run I told him I was going to duck into the bumps and he could go down the groomed side. I stop after a few bumps and turn around and he is right behind me skiing thru them! When he got home he was telling his mom he was skiing thru the maze in the snow piles!

Nice guys. Glad to see both of you out enjoying the nice day! Good thing you had the helmet on while loading on lift 4, Gary. ;)

Jeff, what is it with you guys and the bumps? ;) Looks like you're having a blast with your nephew this season!
