Ski Swap and sale 11/23/03 Barre, MA

Ski Swap - This coming Sunday, November 23rd from 10-2 in the Lodge. Strands will be basically running this event with proceeds to go to the Ski Patrol for equipment. However, if you have anything you'd like to sell feel free to bring it. 20% of any sale goes to the Pine Ridge Ski Patrol.

With the warm temperature and sunshine today the people from Strands decided to hold the ski swap outside in the parking lot. There was a great turn out and it did well. There were also quite a few people who turned up to help out with the painting (which I mentioned in another thread).

An interesting discovery were made as the kitchen was being torn out to make way for the new and improved kitchen. A sign with the prices from the late 60's or early 70's was uncovered. It was sitting in the lodge. Many people commented on the GREAT prices the new owner had after looking at this sign. It actually looked brand new still. The real prices were posted near the checkout, however.
