We have free healthcare so there is no money left for the military...

We'll have to rely on you when the Russian invade us from the north. This will happen soon when the Arctic is finally free of ice in the summer (you think we can start a climate change debate in this thread ?).

The conflict will be over drilling rights, several countries are in dispute on the international borders and jurisdiction to drill offshore.

IIRC, Russia's scientist and government does not buy into the AGW theory. When the Artic is clear of some ice, they will proceed to drill and get what they can use.
