Where in New England would be a good place to ski on Sunday this weekend? I'm looking for someplace with craptons of snow, and mountains in good shape for me and my GF to spend overnight on Sat night, and ski on Sunday. Not sure what the conditions out there look like at other mountains,

I don't think you'll have a problem at any destination resort just about anywhere in NNE. For the end of March, everywhere is set up pretty good.

Was considering Burke, but looks like someone scooped up those tickets from you before I got my PM in. :)

Considering Jay's, but going to take a gander see what kind of ski & stay deals we can find,

Yeah. Poke around for deals. Anywhere up there should be good.

Goes to show that you need to be monitoring AZ all the time, 24/7... ;)

The Hampton Inn in Littleton, NH as some pretty good ski and stay packages. I know they do Cannon and Bretton Woods. I'm pretty sure they also do Burke and Jay (Jay seems like a bit of a drive from there, but I seem to recall seeing it). Depending on the mountain the packages range from around $150-$180 / night and includes lift tickets for two and a continental breakfest. It's a real decent hotel. I know there is a similar package offered by a hotel in St. Johnsbury for Burke and Jay -- don't recall the hotel but that same type of chain.

If you want to ski unlimited glades I would recommend Jay over Burke this weekend. The warm-up between now and then could cause enough snow melt to close Burke's glades by Sunday.

The hotel you're thinkin of is the Comfort Inn at the intersection of I-91 and I-93. It is the same owner as the Hampton Inn in Littleton (hense the same deal) but 25 minutes closer to Burke (20 minture drive) and Jay (1 hour drive).

If you do go to Jay, just make sure that wind and/or icing is not an issue. If you're not sure, call the mountain and speak to a live person before you make the drive up there for the day. You can bail and go to Burke or Owl's Head if the weather is a problem at Jay.
