Just curious as to how many people here take advantage of the SkiVT pass?

This is the first year I've heard of it. I've already sent my money in! Seems like a no brainer if you ski different mountains in VT each season.

I'm all for sharing deals. I go out of my way to mail Azers I've never met 2fer coupons and what not such to help people ski affordably. Hell, I've got certain members on here who have nicknamed me, Mr. Cheap or Stingy, whatever.

The SkiVT deal is a bit different. I suppose I could use my 'mod' powers and delete this thread, but I won't. They are very limited. I would think of it like a powder stash......once their gone, their gone. If you want to enjoy the deal in the future I wouldn't be telling too many of your friends. ;)

What is the big deal? Why do you feel the need to either utilize or harness your "mod powers"?

A. I was kidding about the 'mod' powers thing. Generally speaking we don't delete threads/posts etc other than extreme instances of trolling/flaming and/or politically motivated.........not that I need to explain that to you.

B.I think almost any member here who's been using the SkiVT passes would agree with my statement. They don't even advertise the deal on the site due to limited quantities. I was just letting Eos know, that like a great powder stash, somethings are best kept on the DL.

Please delete this thread!

As I said, this is my first year hearing of it. Lesson learned...

I'm missing something here, are you saying the SkiVT program has a limited number of tickets/passes per mountain so additional participants will make these tickets/passes scarcer - thus not as good a deal for those currently participating?

No. SkiVT is presented a finite number of 3 passes and 5 passes. The passes aren't mountain specific. You can use them wherever you choose. Once those 3 passes and 5 passes are sold out, they're sold out. The more people who know, the quicker they will sell out. I fully admit that it's a somewhat selfish perspective I have and one I know several other people share having conversations 'offline'.

They used to have a program until recently you could get 1 ticket to every area in the state for $250. My understanding is that went away due to overwhelming demand.
