Slight change of weekend plans..Killington/Stowe/Sugarbush..

Slight change of plans. This weekend is looking like my last hoorah for the season so I took Monday off work. I plan on leaving work at Noon tomorrow..and driving up to Rutland VT..I'm skiing Killington on Saturday 4/19 for $49..then driving up to Stowe after skiing. Sunday is canned food day at Stowe and also their closing day and it's $20 for a lift ticket with 2-3 cans of food...I spent last 420 at Stowe and I can't think of a better place in the east to ski that day..especially since Stowe is nearly 100% open on the Mansfield side and tree skiing still available..then on Monday I'll end my ski season at Sugarbush which has lift tickets for only $29. So three days of Vermont skiing for only $98..If anybody wants to join me on any of these days..post about it here or PM me..

Also will Sugarbush be open on April 21st..I just want to know for sure since their website says nothing..

Sugarbush is open daily through 4/27. To be determined after that--hopefully they'll reopen the next weekend.

Sweet..that's what I thought..well Sugarbush will be my 98th and final ski day of the season..I felt shortchanged when I skied there are April Fools day since it was just Gatehouse and Sugar Bravo..hopefully Heavens Gate is open that day..

I would feel bad for you regarding April fools day, but then by next Monday, you will have skied NINETY-EIGHT days this year Enjoy the trip!

O.K. base of the Superstar quad at 11:00AM tomorrow..Black giro fuse helmet..blue Oakley A-frames..black ski pants..probably white twin tips..I'll probably just be wearing a polo shirt or something since it will be in the 60s..

I'm psyched..1 more hour until I leave..if some old lady comes stumbling in at 11:55AM..I'm turning out the lights..I should be able to make it up to Rutland VT with no traffic..since I should be through Albany NY by 3:30PM with a stop at one of the NY Thruways finest rest-stops..Tonight I'm hitting up the sushi bar at The Tokyo House..for a steezy meal...Miso Soup, Avacodo salad, chicken cutlet appetizer..and some sort of steezy roll...yeah boy-eee..washed down with some Long Trail..hopefully there's internet where I'm staying..I seriously want to buy an IPhone so I can post on AlpineZone from the chairlift..Holla..

Sounds good. I'll be wearing gray pants & skiing on gold Volkl Gotamas. I'll probably be wearing a red Volkl baseball hat instead of a helmet in the warm temps. I hope they let Superstar bump up for the weekend. According to today's trail report, they groomed it last night (as they have all week).
