Smuggs Lodging

Looking to ski Smuggs for a few days and was wondering who knows good places to stay for a single person, maybey two. on or off mountain, I dont care. Not too familiar with the area so any other info would be nice. Thanks gang!

Highlander Motel was still there 2 years ago when I was up there. In my youth there was a ski dorm called the Red Fox that was real cheap (Much like the Round Hearth in Stowe). The building is still there but I don't if its still a hostel. 2 years ago I stayed with my family at a fairly new La Quinta off I-89 in St Albans. Indoor pool, breakfast etc. About a 30 minute run from Smuggs and I believe its pretty convenient to Jay Peak as well.

C'mon guys. I need some input here. I dont care about cost. And on the other hand I dont mind staying in a place where I need a 0 degree bag. I got a few freebies for Smuggs I need to blow and I want to have a good time and meet some people. I'm not familiar with the area and would love a little input, HINT HINT private mesage, to a long time AZ'er. Also looking for apre' suggestions too. I'd love to win a couple :beer: playing some pool!
