Killington is in Rutland County. When you see weather forcasts and they say "Addison County and North", it generally means from Sugarbush northward. The Snow Bowl (Midd) may get some too.

I'm actually kinda surprised by that too. Usually don't get any sort of Advisory/Warning/Watch unless we're talking of 6".

The mets at BTV must be bored by this winters weather! ;)

FYI QPF's of .35 on some of the models, with 20:1(even 25:1) snowfall ratios is well above 6 inches... not to mention the orographic lift of the mountains will induce more moisture than the .35 that the model suggest. I wouldn't be surprised to see some mountains pick up a near foot.

Its a snow advisory. 3-6 inches has warranted a snow advisory in the past, its no the bad season thats inducing the advisory. If it were a winter storm warning I would be in agreement.

We got about 4-5" at the base and 8" on top at Mount Snow. Allowed us to open our first tree ski area of the season, The Plunge over on the North Face.

Yes, a solid storm. 6 inches or so across the mountains. Not huge, but hell, we'll take it. Things are getting better by the day!
