LOL. I confused my Californian, tech, leftist, Reid, billionaires thinking it was LinkedIn guy that bought PowMow, rather than Netflix guy. Well that's a good thing, because I think Hoffman's going to get cancelled eventually. Those deets have to come out eventually...... I think...... though we may all be dead by then I suppose.

I'm not one to fall for conspiracy theories, but this one would have to be among the most likely to not actually be a "conspiracy" if it's true. The number of incredibly rich, powerful people, rumored to be on that "list" is bonkers, and the myriad weird things that led to a lack of evidence in his suicide almost defies logic. A former president, royalty, numerous billionaires, elected officials from multiple nations, etc.... The dude had ruinous dirt on everyone.

I will say, that I was there on a kind of semi powder/continuous refill day and the Hippie area between the Village and Mary's was the kind of mellow after lunch tree skiing that I enjoy quite a bit

It sounds lovely, but if there is mellow after lunch tree skiing available, by definition that is pretty empty terrain that isn't core to the operation. Suspect that the terrain off Paradise was much busier that day.

I was there after a long stretch of low tide. Spent most of the AM in Paradise. It wasn't quite survival skiing, but it was very much point to point skiing through bony ass lines. I would definitely like to ski paradise with good snow.

In regards to the mellow trees after lunch, as I said continuous refills. Never got deep.

It's been a few years, but I don't remember parking there being an issue, as in being so crowded that the lots got full. Why does this billionaire care about a few extra bucks? Maybe it's just in the nature of a billionaires that they want to get even more money however they can.
