Anyone see that Southwest will start offering $99 each way direct flights from Bradley Int'l to Denver? It definitely got my attention, the drawback is that it starts in the middle of March. How hit or miss is Colorado skiing in middle/late March?

It will either be springlike or dumping. Can't really go wrong at that time of year.

There are already $89 Southwest promotional fares between Boston and Denver. I'm on that flight Monday, Friday, Monday, Wednesday. My knee is stil screwed up too much to ski on it in a week so I opted to fly back east. At best, I'll be on the flats at KMart for an hour or two.

There are probably alot of good deals flying out of Boston or JFK, but I hate the 2 hour drive. Bradley a nice 20 min rider from my house. And those familiar with Bradley know that cheap and non-stop to your destination of choice usually don't go together.

March from what folks out in Denver tell me is a great month to ski. Just one warning, the schools around Denver have their school vacation weeks spread across the whole month. We did the 3rd week in March last year and the midweek crowds were only slightly worse. I imagine the areas closer to Denver might be a bit worse.
