I wanna ride the cog line on mt. washington. I think its like $25 for one ride, $35 for three, $59 for an all day.

Here is the article

It't not really a big deal...

One of those things that I guess you do to say you did.

now a better goal is to ski that thing on the other side of mt washington...

almost forget when i go to lake tahoe next feb i gotta go ski mott canyon looks pretty sick, must be if it is gated(anyone been out there before)
Yep, I skied Motts on April 30. It is a pretty fun area, although I don't think it is as steep as everyone makes it out to be. If you're comfortable making jump turns, it's not that scary. Killebrew Canyon next door is pretty wild; you can't lap it without hiking, so it stays less skied out.
Speaking of which, I want to do the "Gardnerville Run," which starts from a peak just south of Heavenly and descends 7000 vertical feet to the town of Gardnerville, Nevada. It can only be done about every 7-10 years. My friends out there did it this year and said it was phenomenal.
Has anybody mentioned the Bruce Trail yet? I think it'd be fun to ski from the summit of every 4000'er in New England.

Greg I've skied Devil's Fiddle at K many times. I kind of preferred it when it was all natural snow but because they blew snow on it this year it made it more accessible to more people. I even skied it after the lifts were closed over at Bear Mountain. The corn snow was sweet that day.

There are many trails that I would like to tackle but don't know if I will ever get the opportunity. Rumble and Castlerock at Sugarbush. Paradise and other trails at MRG since I have never been there. Another mountain that I would love to get to is Jay but it is so far from where I live that it would have to be a long weekend trip. I will probably never have the courage to jump into Corbet's at JH. I know that my skiing buddies that were there this year did not have the courage to jump into it and they usually have no problem jumping off things. When I was there many years ago I was not at the skiing level that I am now so I just stood at the top and looked down and then skied down to the bottom and looked up. I admired anyone that did do the jump - you have to make many quick turns in there.

Corbets at Jackson hole, no thanks not for me yet, maybe someday. looks a little too crazy for me.

Skied with my friends cousin at Breck this past Feb. He was at JH that Jan. and he said he wouldn't ski Corbets. Dude is an excellent skier too. He says pixs don't do it justice.

Corbets, of course, but I was too chicken to do it when I was there. Maybe another time, but it'll take a very good snow year making the drop small (not the case when I was there, even though there was plenty of snow to enjoy the rest of the mountain), and a lot of working up courage.

Otherwise, in the east, I'd want to ski Tucks; Face Chutes, Tuckerman's Chute, and other trails off of the ridge at Jay; Goat, Starr, and Lookout at Stowe; and the snowfields at Sugarloaf, and perhaps other trails there (never been). I'd also love to ski the Slides at Whiteface again, but since I've done them once I guess it doesn't count for this thread.

Rumble and Liftline at the 'bush are still on my list.

As for Jay, want to get out to Beaver Pond, Beyond, Green Baret, and the Tuckerman Chutes at some point...it's always been too windy or too icy when I've been there

TrailBoss,
We'll have to get together some this winter and hit some of these. The Face is a lot of fun too.

I'll also have to show you the "Wet Slot" at Burke but then I'll have to kill you  :uzi:
