Game on!

Muppet smiling down Spillsville.

Lots more opened today at Sugarbush, including; Domino, Lower Jester, Lower Grinder, Murphy's Glades, Steins, The Mall, Valley House Traverse, Upper Birdland, Paradise ext. & Heaven's Gate Traverse. Look for a full report in the Stoke Exchange Market Update tomorrow.

Win has hinted at a Castlerock opening for Thanksgiving Day. No promises, but the base is dense and more natural snow is on the way. Some many things to be thankful for!

The best November ever??

The turkey is hot ... come and get it!

Sweet pics! Nice timing on the mid-air turns.

Sounds like an awesome time to be at Sugarbush, I'm jealous!

Sweet! Spills seems to be the first of the Sugarbush elite runs to open.

That's impressive if you guys get Castlerock open on Thanksgiving...has that ever happened before?

It has been a really good November (especially in the last 7-8 days) in terms of snow and cold in the central and northern Greens. What a solid base right now from the upslope event followed by the Sierra Cement and its not even Thanksgiving!

I think that's about right, Greg. Only thing holding it back is usually Lower Ripcord, which is too wide to hold the snow like Spills. It's elevation, narrow width, and the blow in factor from both sides really helps it get covered. That and the patrol ski packing it painstakingly.

When I used to ski at K I felt the same way about Escapade as I do about Spills. When it opens, that signifies the start of the real lift-served season, and usually portends more fun ahead in the near future.
