MOUNT SNOW, Vermont -- Mount Snow will host their qualifying event for the Fourth Annual Sports Illustrated Kids Next Snow Search on Saturday, January 27.
Sponsored by Sports Illustrated Kids, the event is for skiers and snowboarders ages 9-13. Kids are divided in to groups and ski with judges in an all-mountain competition that includes freestyle terrain, free runs and timed runs on a race course.
The winner receives a free trip to Killington to compete in the National Finals, and be part of the Sports Illustrated Kids Next Snow Search Team, March 2-4. For more information, visit www.nextsnow.com.
Registration is from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. in the Main Base Lodge. Registration fee is $20. The competition runs from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a pizza lunch break in between.
